Uncle Barney's son Marv and his wife Sue Leavitt are serving a mission in West Africa. They are collecting funds for white shirts and ties (for the deacons) for each of the five branches that are in their area. Each shirt and tie costs $12.00 in Nigeria and they would like to purchase 10 for each of the branches. If you are touched, moved and/or inspired by this opportunity please send checks made out to: Marv (or Sue) Leavitt and mail them to: Russ Leavitt at P O Box 20355, Mesa, AZ 85277
Please send what ever you can it is going to a great cause and you can see where the money is going.
This picture is taken at their Primary Activity Day. The Nsukka Branch Primary with their Primary President (in African Dress) and Sister Dibia the Enugu District Primary President…the children and dressed and ready to perform their cultural dance…how cute are they?
This picture is taken in the chapel as President and Sister Garff teach the children about the Temple…you should have seen their faces, and you could have heard a pin drop they were so focused on the Garff’s and their sharing time experience.
